Bea Vancaillie

Runners’ Rainbow

As our society shifts to distance, and our normal avenues of physical expression transition to the virtual sphere, people respond in beautifully primitive ways. We explore the possibilities to enjoy outdoor spaces and the sunshine, yet are still conscious of the problems we currently face. As a way to adapt positively, Vancaillie brings light on our currently dissonant relationship to the earth by creating an installation using water to produce a rainbow for runners passing by.

During the course of the exhibition the installation will be slowly constructed and on the last day the rainbow will shine.
